To honor the special unconditional love and bond that children share with their pets, FETCH will be campaigning for those pets that have taught our children valuable life lessons! FETCH a Cure will be partnering with the Richmond community to give back to those who gave us everything.

Animals and children have a special relationship. Children with pets are always excited to talk to you about their best friend and for many, their pets are like siblings; they are always there. Children learn the importance of responsibility, discipline, patience, kindness, and attentiveness at an early age by acting as a caretaker for the pet and forming a unique bond. The relationship between Child and Canine is one that cannot be duplicated. We need to ensure we care for our best friends they way they’ve always cared for us.

Our Goals:

•  Create awareness, at a young age, about canine health and aging issues
•  Teach children ways to help prevent canine cancer in their best friend
•  Offer education and support to families with sick or aging dogs
•  To recognize canines who are deserving of special treatment
